Frequently Asked Questions:

Cheer Salt Lake is an all volunteer, all adult cheerleading team. We use our passion for cheer – including high flying stunts, tumbling, and award winning smiles to support and raise money for health related charities. Everywhere we go, we take our spirit buckets with us – in which our generous fans and supporters drop donations as we pass by and perform. We are a part of the Pride Cheer Association, a family of teams around the country who raise money for charity!

We perform year round for a variety of community events, typically on weekends. Our upcoming season will feature performances at the Park Silly Sunday Market, Provo Pride, Aids Walk, Wasatch Roller Derby, Blitz women’s football games, Utah Pride…. And most exciting, a season culminating trip to perform with our sister teams at San Francisco Pride!

Cheer Salt Lake holds tryouts throughout the year. You must be 18 years of age or older. There is no max age cap! We are looking for athletes who have a passion for cheer, but more importantly, a passion and PRIDE for their community. No previous cheer experience is required, as there is a place for everyone on our team who demonstrates a dedicated work ethic and positive attitude.

You MUST be available for practices on Tuesday nights from 7:45-10:00 pm.
